Make it [Work]Wear is an all new, international fashion competition that provides designers the opportunity to reimagine, redefine and reanimate Flame Resistant (FR) Workwear. With the chance at international exposure and some serious prize money, Make it [Work]Wear offers 3rd and 4th year fashion design students from around the world the opportunity to have their designs reviewed by the most influential decision-makers in the garment manufacturing industry.

We’re asking you to create an FR workwear garment that end-users want to wear.

We’re talking about modern professionals who want their protective clothing to be an relevant expression of themselves — not a biproduct of safety standards and massed-produced convenience. The end-users you’re designing for want workwear that feels like the clothes they wear outside of work – a perfect blend of fit, comfort, and protection.

Using the FR stretch fabric provided to you, we’re calling designers to skilfully weave these elements together to create a garment that will change it all for modern workwear professionals everywhere.
